Salary Raise Calculator

Find your new pay after a raise, or the percentage of a raise.

New pay after a percentage raise

Enter your current pay and the raise.

What percentage raise is it?

Enter the old and new pay.

How to calculate a pay raise

Multiply your current pay by the raise percentage divided by 100, then add it to your current pay. A 5% raise on $50,000 is $2,500, for a new salary of $52,500.

How to find the percentage of a raise

Subtract the old pay from the new pay, divide by the old pay and multiply by 100. Going from $20 to $21.50 an hour is a 7.5% raise.

The calculator works for hourly, weekly, monthly or yearly pay, so use the same period in both boxes. To turn pay into other periods, use the hourly to salary calculator.
